We at Diani Pamoja do not decide who receives a food donation. 

In order to achieve the fairest possible distribution, the County Kwale has identified families in need through the community authorities, village leaders and nyumba kumi officials. In addition, Red Cross Kenya has conducted surveys in several areas. These surveys are cross-checked with existing lists to identify those in particular need and to avoid double counting of individual families.In each village a committee was founded, which consists of 7 members. Among them are representatives of women’s, youth, disabled groups, religious leaders and others.

We think this is a fair procedure and will support our approach.
